Alan Hanson: Born and raised on farm in NE South Dakota. Attended college at Wahpeton State School of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota for Electronic Technology. Was hired by Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1973. Attended Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 1987 and graduated with BA in Computer Science. Retired from Rockwell 2011 as a Principal Software Engineer. Researching alternative energy opportunities such as solar and wind. Continued genealogy investigation and research. Looking into continuing software development and learning new computer languages.
